Immigration Debate

We are going to have a fishbowl debate about immigration in the US. Our conversation will revolve around the USA Dream Act and President Obama's immigration proposal that will expand DACA. I've posted lots of information about this topic below.

1)Learn about immigration. Here's some places to start:

There are many aspects of immigration that we can touch on in our debate but I'd like us to begin by focusing on the USA Dream Act.

2)Work with a partner to research US immigration and make a post about immigration on the page for your class below.

3)Instead of writing an editorial, teams of 2 to 3 will make an infographic (digital or poster) about immigration that they will turn in and share the day after the fishbowl.

The more illuminating, thorough, empathetic, thoughtful, informative the post, the better our fishbowl and the better your grade.
