ELECTIONS

Before you play the game, you have to know the rules.
In the US, elections occur on a regular schedule that is fixed and unchanging.
House elections occur on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November of even numbered years. All members of the House stand for reelection every two years.
Senatorial elections occur on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November of even numbered years. 1/3 of all Senate members stand for reelection every two years.
Presidential elections occur on the the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November every fourth even numbered year since 1792.
